Privacy policy
Last updated July 8, 2026
DoubleBooks is made by Zoopdoop, LLC. We built it for people who want to own their financial records, so we collect as little about you as we can. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Your books stay with you
The desktop app keeps your books as plain files on your own computer. We never receive them. We cannot read your ledgers, and we cannot lose them for you.
If you use online sync, your books are stored on our servers so they can move between your devices and the people you share them with. You can export a full copy at any time, and you can delete your account and its data.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us. We use it for one thing: to tell you when DoubleBooks is ready. We will not sell it or share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
This website
Our web host keeps standard server records, such as the pages that are requested and the general location of the request. We use these to keep the site running and secure. This site does not run third-party advertising or tracking.
